This is now the second release I have had the pleasure of enjoying from the 2XO lineup and this bottle is the third small-batch blend in the Brand’s Icon Series. Having unfortunately never tried this Master Blender’s bottles while blending for Kentucky Owl, I am enthralled he has taken on this new venture to provide an amazing product at a more affordable cost. Today’s bottle is produced by the Prestige Beverage Group, blended by the iconic Master Blender Dixon Dedman, and is 2XO The Tribute Blend.

From the Prestige Beverage Group website: The Tribute Blend is the third small batch blend in the Brand’s Icon Series, a series of one-off small batch releases. Each blend is different and bears its own name, inspired by the story behind it. The Tribute Blend is a nod to Dixon’s parents and the path they paved for him. The Tribute Blend’s mouthfeel is viscous and rich, moving from initial sweetness on the front, to savory notes on the mid-palate, finishing with a muted but lingering spice that hangs around longer than expected.

This small batch series and the rest of the 2XO lineup have been relatively easy to find across NoCo. Overall, I could drink this every day as this is a great pour representing a solid bourbon! This nose is a Buttercream Frosted Vanilla Cookie with Strawberry Drizzle in a glass that continues to the plate and ends with an amazingly sweet and spiced finish. If you have not tried this, go get a bottle or at least try it at a bar. With that said, let’s get our taste on!

• Nose: Vanilla, Baking Spice, Fruitiness (Strawberry/Raspberry), Sweet Cream, Caramel, and Slight Oak (This is a Buttercream Frosted Vanilla Cookie with Strawberry Drizzle in a glass!)
• Palate: Vanilla, Oak, Buttercream, Red Fruit (Raspberry/Strawberry), and Baking Spice
• Finish: Long Colorado Winter’s Hug with Wonderful Lingering Notes of Spiced Oak and Vanilla
• My Rating: Drink It!/Save It! (I could drink this every day… This is a great pour representing a solid bourbon!)
