So I know I am not a cool WhiskeyTuber and just a writer, however, I do enjoy watching the fantastic content on several WhiskeyTube Channels. While watching one of these channels last weekend, ADHD Whiskey, Mr. Matt Porter made a challenge to other YouTube channels. In short, he challenged these channels to list five (5) whiskies from their collection that they would keep if they had to start the entire collection over again.

As always, Mr. Porter’s video was great, and this concept stuck with me. Over the next few days, I pondered about my collection and how it has grown from three (3) bottles in a kitchen cabinet two years ago, to now three (3) dedicated shelving units in my bourbon oasis room. I continued to consider what I would do if I had to start all over again, and all though there was some excitement around this topic, I quickly realized that I have too many bottles in my collection with sentimental value and this might be quite hard to accomplish.

Nonetheless, I tried my best to separate the sentimental value of my collection and strip it down to the pure excellence of each bottle. I looked through previous reviews, examined reviews that have yet to be published, and took a look at my tasting journal to essentially determine the top five (5) favorite bottles currently in my collection. With that said, let’s get our list on!

Please remember, drinking bourbon is a personal adventure, so do not be afraid to drink it neat, with ice, or add some water. It’s your bourbon, you bought it, and you should enjoy it how you want to enjoy it!
