Again, I do not want to get too personal on this blog, so we will keep it very high-level. I made the personal decision to better my health for myself. In doing so, I have now experienced what it is like to be prescribed a pill and how that affects my ability to review bourbon. To put it bluntly, this choice has put a huge damper on reviewing bourbon, to the point where it is almost impossible to enjoy a pour now. So what’s next, Bourbon Bossman® Reviews Wine?

Yep, that’s right, Bourbon Bossman® is going to start to review wine! Right now, the pill that I take often has an adverse effect when drinking bourbon and will either make me super nauseous or wreck my stomach the next day; and we are talking 1.5 ounces of bourbon, seriously, just that little. So, while on vacation last week, I decided to try wine again for the first time in over ten years. Long story short, wine used to hurt my stomach and cause headaches, and apparently it no longer does. So here we are, and I never thought I would say this, but I am going to review the occasional wine as well.

I love Bourbon Bossman® for what it has created for me, the writing outlet it allows, and reviewing wine allows me to continue to hone the skills I have learned from reviewing bourbon. I do plan to send out these future wine reviews via email. However, I will assume you subscribed to this website to receive bourbon reviews, so please feel free to delete these wine reviews or unsubscribe if you do not want to read about wine. Bourbon is what brought back my passion for writing, and I still absolutely love a good pour, so I plan to release bourbon reviews at least once a month, but hopefully twice.

Either way, thank you for taking the time to read this post, and always remember to keep an open mind. You never know, you might actually enjoy that glass of wine as I did ten years later.

Please remember, drinking bourbon is a personal adventure, so do not be afraid to drink it neat, with ice, or add some water. It’s your bourbon, you bought it, and you should enjoy it how you want to enjoy it!
