Well dang, here I am again reviewing a third ice maker from ecozy. This time, it is exactly what I asked for in 2025: a machine that produces larger ice balls! Well, I would like to think it was because of me that this machine was built, but I am sure it was market-driven. With that said, today’s review comes from the ecozy company, which can be purchased from Amazon here, and is of the ecozy 2.4″ clear ice ball maker with CrystalFlux technology.

Before I get started, I want to state that this machine was sent to me again for free, with no strings attached. I am not being paid for this review, and I do not receive any commission if a reader decides to purchase this product. As always, this review will reflect my genuine opinion of the product, regardless of any external influences.

Let’s start this review with some of the marketing information from the ecozy Amazon website:

Now I know there is a lot of information above, but since I received this $439 machine for free, I felt I should, at a minimum, include most of ecozy’s marketing information. So, if you have made it this far in the review, I appreciate it greatly and hope you continue reading my overall thoughts of the product below.

Setting up this machine is made super easy by ecozy and is almost as easy as plug-and-play! Additionally, using this is even more effortless as all you do is pour water in, press the start button, and wait for your crystal clear, perfectly sized ice. I will say that if you have the ability to connect this ice maker to a water line, definitely do so. My only issue, which is completely user error, is that I would start the machine and walk away, forgetting to check the water level to keep the ice flowing.

We received this ice maker shortly before Christmas, but I wanted to make sure to use it as much as I could before writing this review. During this period, we have run the machine just over a dozen times for approximately six to eight hours straight on a Saturday or Sunday while at home. Each time we were able to make between 35 and 45 ice balls or two full gallon ziplock bags.

Overall, the ecozy team hit this one out of the park, from the ease of setup to the simplicity of use, and ending with a great product. I do not have much more to say, except we absolutely love this machine! So much so that we have pretty much stopped using our built-in ice maker in the refrigerator and now use these ice balls in all our drinks.
