So what the F**k is a Bourbon Heads NFT?!?! November 30th is the mint day for the Bourbon Heads NFT Club, and I have been watching WhiskeyTubers talk about why and why not you should join. For those not familiar with what Bourbon Heads is, I will try to give a quick explanation, but please also feel free to visit their website HERE. In short, and please note that this does not give the club due justice, this is a national bourbon club through the purchase of an NFT. This club is backed by an actual bourbon collection, allows for tasting rare bottles of bourbon, and is for those who can afford a $2500 membership.

So let’s dissect what you exactly get from this quite expensive $2500 bourbon club membership. First, this is an NFT that you will fully own through the cryptocurrency blockchain Ethereum. So what is an NFT? A Non-Fungible Token, or NFT, is a digital asset that can come in the form of music, art, videos, or in this case a bourbon club token. These NFTs are typically one-of-a-kind items, that are stored in cryptocurrency wallets.

In theory, this club should have an ongoing value through the cryptocurrency market, but keep in mind it could be a volatile and fluctuating value. Secondly, you gain access to a future main clubhouse in Kentucky and several future speakeasies across the nation where you can taste rare bourbons and whiskies the normal enthusiast might not otherwise have access to. Additionally, you will fractionally own one of the world’s most valuable bourbon collections. This collection is also being used to back the value of your purchased NFT to help offset that volatility I previously mentioned.

Lastly, if you can not use your membership because there is no speakeasy near you, the club bylaws do allow you to lease your Bourbon Head NFT to others. So essentially, if this ownership group decides not to build in your area, you can still make money from your membership by leasing to those wanting to use gain entry into these speakeasies. You make 90% of the lease cost and 10% goes back to the club.

So after watching hours of YouTube videos, and reading all the information, I could find, honestly, this is a lot of money, and I am leaning towards not becoming a member. Nonetheless, Mrs. Bourbon Bossman and I will discuss this more today and tomorrow and make our decision on whether this is a good investment or not. Whether or not you believe this is a good investment, is totally your decision and your decision alone.

If done correctly, the Bourbon Heads could offer a very unique nationwide experience for those bourbon enthusiasts wanting to be a part of, what could be, a once in a lifetime experience.
