A huge shout-out to the ecozy marketing team, as another branch recently reached out asking if I would like to review a different product. I have always been honest from the start of this blog, and yes, it was a hope that one day I would receive products from distilleries to review. However, when I started this journey I never imagined that product companies associated with the bourbon and whiskey industry would also reach out about reviewing their products. I am deeply humbled and thankful that this has occurred, as this is not my career, but rather a passion and hobby that allows my creative self a space to express itself.

As always, I want to be very clear that this machine was sent to me for free, but with no strings attached. I am not being paid for this review, and I will not receive any commission if a reader decides to purchase this product. This review will reflect only my personal opinion of the product, with no external influences. With that said, today’s review comes from the ecozy company, which can be purchased from Amazon, and is of the ecozy Nugget Ice Maker Countertop, Smart Pebble Ice Machine with APP Control.

Let’s start out this review with some of the marketing information from the ecozy Amazon page:

I know there is a lot of product information above, but since I was sent this machine for free, I felt that I should include ecozy’s marketing information. So, if you have made it this far in the review, I appreciate it greatly and hope you continue reading below for a bit more in-depth opinion on the actual product.

First, when comparing this model to the recently reviewed ecozy 2″ Clear Ice Ball Maker, there are several upgraded features I prefer with this nugget ice maker. The full color touch display, integrated app connection to my iPhone and Alexa, and LED backlight are definitely this millennial’s dream machine. With this overall sleek design, coupled with new ease-of-use features such as the top fill water reservoir and removable ice basket, this almost makes a perfect countertop ice maker.

But if I had to be particular with this review, there are two things that I would slightly knock this machine on. The first item that I have a little concern with is that after about an hour of ice making the sides of this machine do become quite warm. Now I would not say the sides are hot, but I personally would worry about leaving this running at home with no one watching it. Secondly, I prefer to make a bunch of ice and then freeze it to use throughout the week, rather than always keeping the machine running. I will say this nugget ice is amazing straight from the machine, but it does not freeze well for later use.

Overall, this is another damn fine machine created by the team at ecozy. I truly have no negative things to say about this machine except for what I would call the above two items, but those are truly just personal and not faults of the product. Of course, we must mention price, and at $399, I would say this is a much better price than the $599 ecozy 2″ Clear Ice Ball Maker, but it is still not inexpensive. However, if you have the countertop space, enjoy mixed drinks, host events, or just love nugget ice like the rest of us, I definitely recommend purchasing this ecozy Nugget Ice Maker Countertop.
