Today’s review comes from the Prestige Beverage Group and is the new release from Mr. Dixon Dedman, 2XO The Sneakerhead Blend.

The Sneakerhead Blend lands rich and heavy on the mid-palate with spice and pepper for a long, smooth finish.

Since the release of the 2XO Brand, I have been lucky enough to find most of the releases in the NoCo area. Unfortunately, this release has been difficult, and we ended up purchasing this bottle from Justin’s House of Bourbon while on our trip to Kentucky last October. Overall, this is a classic, quintessential example of what a bourbon should be. Hitting all the amazing notes of vanilla, baking spice, and oak that my palate enjoys, I could not ask for more. All I have to say is damn good job Mr. Dixon Dedman, this is another very solid bourbon that I would recommend to all! With that said, let’s get our taste on!

• Nose: Brown Sugar, Vanilla, Clove or Some Sort of Baking Spice, Cherry Coke, and Walnut Bread
• Palate: Flat Vanilla Cherry Coke, Baking Spice, Brown Sugar, Caramel, Oak, and Walnut
• Finish: Medium with Notes of Baking Spice and Vanilla
• My Rating: Drink It!/Save It! (Damn good job Mr. Dixon Dedman, this is another very solid bourbon that I would recommend to all!)

Please remember, drinking bourbon is a personal adventure, so do not be afraid to drink it neat, with ice, or add some water. It’s your bourbon, you bought it, and you should enjoy it how you want to enjoy it!
